Just got done listening to the Murder at Avedon Hill and I loved it. So I told my girlfriend about it she is very interested in it, but she doesn't like listening to audio books. So I was wondering if you have it, or are going to have it in ebook form. She has a Sony ebook reader and thats how she does all her reading now. Thank You, and keep up the good work.

Thanks Blair. Still working on the MS for MaAH so it can be published in April or May of this year. Then I can continue work on the next book. I'm looking to start podcasting that at the end of 2010.

It's great to see new reasons for a "Damn you, Holyfield!"

And great to see a junkie story that has nothing to do with scott sigler.

And J.T., if you ever come back, thanks for the kind words. This is a passion, and there
is so much more I would love to do, but there's just not enough hours in the day.

I was recently given an iPod which lead me to iTunes and once there I started poking around. At first it was music but then I stumbled into podcasts of NPR, BBC and the like. That was cool enough but one day I blundered into literature and started mixing in a short story or two with my other iPod fare. I was managing to integrate all this into my life with no adverse consequences. I was still what they call high functioning. That is until MaAH. I started it believing that I could control my consumption. It would be just an episode every day or so. Then I found myself cursing the time it took to download. Finally I had to admit I had a problem when my wife scheduled an intervention. Even then I couldn’t kick the habit. Now that I’ve finish the last episode, I’m reluctantly returning to a neglected life that is drab in comparison. Damn you Holyfield!!

BTW In a desperate attempt to encourage you to continue to publish I posted a 5 star review on ITunes.

Thanks guys! Pavlina, you're just great, you know that?

Rick, you're dang right about the competition. I can say without question that if any of these podcasts win (other than mine), I would not be surprised.

James, Congratulations to you as well. It is a testament to your podcast novel that you are a finalist with only seven episodes under your belt. Rock on with your bad self... the student has obviously surpassed the master. :)

Had never heard this speech in its entirety. Patrick Henry knew what he was doing, sir, and through your terrific performance his words came alive once more. I have chills.

Wonderfully done.

Ok, so two years later, and I've finally come to MaAH. I was compelled to leave a comment due to a funny coincidence this morning. I was listening to T-minus 1: The Seeker on my iPhone when my son woke up. I paused the story by clicking the headphone play/pause button so I could take my son's breakfast order. When I clicked the button again a few minutes later, I was momentarily confused by music coming through the earbuds. I was further confused when I looked at the screen and saw the title of "The Seeker". Then I had to laugh. Somehow, when I paused playback, then hit play, the iPod app had reverted back to my music library, which I have on random. Coincidentally (or not?), the song playing was The Seeker, by The Who.

Hey P.G.,
Like the above posts, my mind also went to the fact that MaAH, such a great story, is now over. Congratulations on finishing it though.

If you remember, I had earlier given some comment about Transistor Rodeo being the only other podcast novel that I liked about as much as Murder at Avedon Hill. Well, Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff destroyed that when he took about half a year to release the last episode of TR, after having released all earlier episodes in a weekly manner.

You were more consistent though, and I could remember in your novel what had happened in earlier episodes when a new one came out.

Overall, P.G., I loved your novel from beginning to end. Thanks for such a great piece of work.

When so much time, effort and energy put into something like, the only thing I can say to such a good ending is... JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!!

It's a rare ending that provides both a satisfying conclusion that leaves me comfortable and makes me wonder what comes next for the main characters. You definitely created an interesting world here, hope you give us a chance to explore more of it through future stories. That's right, like every other grateful reader my first thought at a stories ending is to clamor for more stories. :)

Seriously though, great job.

When I saw the "The End" file in my Podiobooks.com feed, my first thought was, "Crap, it's over!"

Thanks for a good novel. I am selfishly hoping for the speedy appearance of the next part of the story.

CONGRATS! You have every right to be incredibly proud of yourself for getting through this massive undertaking. If you felt anything close to how I felt finishing Heart of the Hunter, you must be incandescent with pride, accomplishment, and exhaustion. Now get to work on MAAH #2: Avedon Strikes Back!

I have one short story in this feed (the T-Minus 2 episode, maybe?). I'll be doing another short story soon after the podcast is completed. After that... well, we'll just have to see.

Congratulations on the publisher!

Can't wait to see how you end things in the next two chapters. I believe you mentioned another novel in your last intro or outro; if it's not set in this universe, any chance of a short story or two in this universe?

Hey P.G.,
I am enjoying MaAH immensely. But damn you Holyfield. You keep us waiting at cliff hangers.

I started listening to Tee and Pip to fill the space. Since you're still going with your podcast and they've finished I've come to the conclusion that you must have a life.

In all seriousness, I admire you. You're putting a heck of lot of time and effort in your work - what must be your passion. In this day and age, we're all so busy and it so difficult to balance what we must do and what we love to do.

Keep up the great work!

Man, good episode. I have to agree that the cliff hanger though does transcend the DAMN YOU Holyfield up to the F*&$ YOU level.... as in FINE WORK. This has been a great story. Once MAAH is over though are you through or do you have something else lined up? I caught that you are returning to the workforce, good luck with finding a job that still lets you balance the rest of your life as well. Thanks for a fun ride so far.

Hey P.G., its been a long time since I posted my last comment here, more than half a year I think. I couldn't listen to any of your episodes after joining college as anything ending in .mp3 is blocked here, and so I stopped posting comments as well.
I caught up with you over christmas holidays, and man, the story is still kicking.
MaAH is truly one of my favourites.

I've found a way to by-pass the block and so I'm downloading this episode right now.

Thanks again for MaAH
