Equipment rolling in…

I got my new microphone (MXL V63M), shockmount, mic stand, and filter today. Of course I haven’t received the mixer I ordered, so I can’t actually do anything with it… except admire the hell out of it 
I’ll be traveling to Atlanta next week and hope to get a lesson on working with a mixer from Clair High and Leann Mabry (and hopefully play some Killer Bunnies).
NOTE (1/28/07): My mixer arrived last week and now I fully understand how completely horrible my house is for recording audio. I think I’ll be recording MaAH in a walk-in closet in my bedroom
